Well , Lenskart sells stuffs that you may find in an optical store i.e. eyeframes (spectacles) , contact lenses , sunglasses and power sunglasses and as they believe in authenticity , you can find products (opticals) of major brands like Fastrack , Ray-Ban , speedo etc. with ease . Upon reading those brand names you would probably be thinking that there would be nothing for a common man . Right ?
Actually no , a no. of products are available here which are all of good quality and obviously authentic material .

One may opt to buy a product not from one of the major brands but some other brand even Lenskart has its own products and these are not like one's being sold in a local optical store near you .

There is a variety of choice in Sunglasses , Power Sunglasses which are for those who have an eyesight problem , contact lenses and eyeframes.

They have eyeframes starting from Rs 199.0 and they just look good and better than local ones available near you .

You can eyeframe with lenses fitted by them you may opt from available lens packages starting from Rs.500 to Rs.1690 and are named as Bronze ,Silver ,Gold ,Platinum . Platinum one is Crizal's lenses at a good price. BELOW IS A SCREENSHOT OF PACKAGES OFFERED :

Customers residing in Bangalore or Delhi can avail a "Home Try On " service for ransom Rs.100 (which is adjusted in final order if you buy eye frame too) .
You have to just pay Rs.100 by Net-Banking ,Credit Card etc. (no COD available) and you would fix an appointment in which a lenskart's person would come to your home (actually doorstep) with Eyeframes (200-250 best selling ones) and equipment for testing your eyes.
They may check your eyes in a car in which they arrive .

Power Card: Front n Back

After check-up they would provide you with a POWER CARD which is basically a card which has information about power of your eyes , axis , etc. like one below :

You can just get your eyes checked up or you may proceed for eyeframes and payement of eyeframes with lenses can be done by COD ,credit card (online ,net banking , DD etc.)

They have eyeframes for 1st timers in which you have to just pay the price of lenses and frame is free , anyone can use this offer .

Pricing on lenskart is pretty nice . You get what you want at an affordable price . Like Gold Package of lenses is just for Rs.850 and the lenses offered in this package are made up of thin plastic of 1.61 index (the greater the index is the better lens and viewing experience is) with antiglare ,AR coating and Scratch resistance layering .
Payment options are like other sites (like FLIPKART) and these are : Debit card ,Credit Card ,Internet Banking ,Cash on Delivery (CoD),Cheque/DD ,EMIs (Available with Citibank) ,Cash Card

Lenskart depends on other companies like BlueDart ship their products .In my case , order was shipped by a company named as "CHHOTU Courier" .
So you have to trust those companies for your order. If anything happens like delay in delivery then Lenskart might not be responsible.
They would have started their own courier company like Myntra and Flipkart .

As you can see in above image ,Lenskart has a pretty simple structure as compared to Flipkart ,Myntra ,Yebhi .
Items/products are well categorized and items are there in their respective category only .
They have even made a video for buying opticals .

Return Policy

Now , that's the thing of which each one is worried of .Well , in lenskart if you have bought eyeframe (spectacles) you receive a return form with a slip which has lenskart's address printed on it .You have to drop off the package with its content and address's slip on it to a BlueDart's office and the amount will be credited to you in form of store credits ,means you have to use the refunded money to shop from them only.

Packaging

The package comes wrapped in a plastic with Two boxes in it (one in another) .

The box is a simple box , inside it is an another box by the company only surrounded with air bags for stability of content.

Inside the main box is your sunglasses/eyeframe or whatever you had ordered in its respective case with receipt cum tax invoice , a power card , return form/slip and gift vouchers worth Rs.2000.

The Verdict

If you are looking for a site to buy spectacles or even sunglasses at an unbeatable price and without compromising with quality of product being provided then Lenskart is highly recommended site as there's is no site of its kind.
