How Micromax Canvas Series became huge

Micromax is a recently started company dealing with electronic goods. Lets say that its journey wasn't so nice till now.
The company manufactured many devices till now but weren't able to stomp the market with it. There were some device which were literally copied using Samsung interface.

Fortunately the company got to know exactly what the consumers wanted. They carefully planned their this new releases and then targeted them wisely.
Then Canvas series was something which took micromax to a next level.Maybe its the reason why the phones went Out of Stock so fast !



The Canvas phones became particularly famous because of these points -

1. Big Screen

Most of the latest Android phones released had a medium screen. The only ones with a big screen were beyond the Price tag of 400$ (Rs. 20,000). However these phones being in the mid and starting range have screens of 5 inches each. Even with such a big screens the DPI remains reasonably good, i.e. 196 of Canvas and Canvas 2 and 294 of Canvas HD.

2. Better Back Camera and Front Camera

Canvas, Canvas 2 and Canvas HD have cameras of 5 MP, 8MP, and 8 MP respectively. Moreover all them have a front camera (1.3 MP of Canvas and Canvas 2 and 2 MP of Canvas HD). So all the photographing youth will simply find this attractive! Moreover there is Geo tagging. Also Canvas 2 and Canvas HD have touch focus and face detection which is there only in Devices from the High Range.

3. Dual Sim

I personally carry two different Android phones right now and I know the maintenance needed for them. While here in the Canvas devices, you are simply getting many features with a dual SIM support! And these devices are dual-standby devices. SO no problem with calling.
