Galaxy Beam is the first Projector phone from the Samsung Galaxy Series. It has a decent processor of Dual Core 1 GHz Cortex A9, a resolution of 480x800 and an impressive RAM of 6 GB. The phone is suitable for Gaming as well as Computing.
The video below states the Hands on of Galaxy Beam by a Samsung Technician.
Here are the specifications of the Phone -
The phone stands out to be what it is for. Like it can be great to have a handheld projector which can be used without any efforts, that too inside a Smart Phone. But when it comes to the Smart Phone alone, the Galaxy Beam isn't that convincing. It is so because the phone lacks the latest OS Android 4 ICS, instead comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Network too was restricted to HSPA which could have been HSPA+ or 4G LTE for better connectivity. The Back Camera is of 5 MP with Auto-focus, which can be a delight to photographers. The Front Camera is of 1.3 MP for Video Calling. The battery of 2000mAh might not be able to handle the phone more than a day. With the projector switched on the battery could last for 5 to 60 hours, nothing more that that.
